Borsalino chooses Spiga26 as the location for its new Milanese flagship store
Hines has secured the luxury brand Borsalino as new tenant, who plans to open its flagship store in autumn, alongside world-renowned brands including Moschino, Sergio Rossi, Drumohr and Kering at Spiga 26 in Milan.
Spiga 26 intends to be home to the iconic collections of the Borsalino brand, which represents the highest expression of Italian excellence in hat manufacturing, with a craftsmanship and savoir-faire that has been handed down from generation to generation since 1857. Part of the Haeres Equita fund since 2018, the Borsalino brand has always been associated with great personalities from the world of culture, cinema and art, who wear the hats produced in Alessandria as true accessories of choice.
With a surface area of 70 square metres, the Borsalino boutique plans to be light and airy designed with linear lines and two floor-to-ceiling display windows facing Via della Spiga to highlight the styling and extraordinary detailing of the men’s and women’s hats, soft-accessories, small leather goods and capsule collections, which the brand produces season after season.
